The celebrations were held following the norms of social distancing in view of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. On this occasion, the Chief Guest, A.K. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC along with N.K. Jain, Director (Personnel) and office-bearers of NHPC Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Employees Welfare Association and NHPC OBC Employees Welfare Association along with members of both these associations and other officers / employees of NHPC paid floral tributes to the statue of Dr. Ambedkar.
