Lawrence Bishnoi Is Currently In Sabarmati Jail

The Kshatriya Karni Sena recently announced a reward exceeding ₹1 crore for any police officer who kills jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The reward was announced by Raj Shekhawat, the national president of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, following Bishnoi’s gang claiming responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai. In a video statement, Shekhawat offered a bounty of ₹1,11,11,111 to any police or security personnel who successfully encountered Lawrence Bishnoi.

Raj Shekhawat justified the reward by stating that it was necessary to ensure public safety and maintain security. He expressed disappointment with the central government and the Gujarat government over their inability to control gang activities and criminal syndicates like that of Lawrence Bishnoi. He emphasized the need for stricter action against notorious criminals like Bishnoi.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently held in Gujarat’s Sabarmati Jail in connection with cross-border drug smuggling. Previously, his name surfaced during an investigation into the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in April, but the Mumbai Police were unable to take his custody for further questioning.

In a video shared on social media, Raj Shekhawat accused Lawrence Bishnoi of being involved in the murder of prominent Karni Sena leader, Amar Shaheed Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who was considered a symbol of pride and heritage for the community. Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the chief of Karni Sena, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on December 5, 2023, in Jaipur. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the killing shortly after the incident.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s criminal network remains active across India and even beyond its borders, as his gang has been linked to multiple high-profile incidents in recent years. In addition to Baba Siddique’s murder, Bishnoi’s gang also claimed responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan’s residence earlier this year. Bishnoi’s name has been associated with several cases, highlighting the widespread influence of his criminal activities.

In September 2023, Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility for the killing of Khalistani sympathizer Sukha Duneke. The gang was also allegedly involved in shootings outside the residences of prominent Indian artists AP Dhillon and Gippy Grewal in Canada. These incidents further emphasize the reach of Bishnoi’s criminal network, which operates across national boundaries and poses significant challenges to law enforcement agencies.

Baba Siddique’s murder was reportedly carried out by Bishnoi’s gang due to Siddique’s alleged connections to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his close personal relationship with Salman Khan. Bishnoi has had a long-standing grudge against Salman Khan, who has received multiple death threats from the gangster over the past few years. Salman Khan’s security has been on high alert since Siddique’s murder, as the actor and his family remain at risk from Bishnoi’s criminal network.

The Kshatriya Karni Sena’s announcement of a bounty for the encounter of Lawrence Bishnoi reflects the growing frustration among various groups over the lack of action against notorious criminals. The rise in violent incidents involving Bishnoi’s gang highlights the challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in curbing organized crime and ensuring public safety. The ongoing threats against influential public figures and high-profile murders underscore the urgent need for strict measures to dismantle these criminal syndicates.
