On Saturday, the police arrested Hemant Kansal, IG, Haryana Home Guard in Panchkula. He is accused of assaulting and abusing a mother and her daughter by drunkenly entering the home of his female cook. The event took place on Friday night. During this time there was a lot of uproar. The woman lodged a case against the IG at Pinjore police station. The woman and her daughter allege that Kansal is harassing them unnecessarily due to a family dispute. The dispute is related to Kansal’s daughter. Because of this, they were beaten up. A video of the entire incident has also been made, in which IG is seen abusing these women.
Female cook Anjali says that on the night of August 21, IG Hemant Kansal came to her house at 8 pm under the influence of alcohol. The house bell started ringing. The IG then entered. He started fighting with daughter. As she tried to save the daughter, Kansal started shoving and scrambling with her too. Subsequently, he was escorted out of the house.
It is alleged that Kansal also rang the bell of a nearby house. As soon as a woman opened the gate, he pushed her aggressively. The woman screamed loudly. With this, her husband also came out, then the IG started fighting with her husband as well. Seeing this uproar, the people of the locality gathered on the spot.

During this time a large number of people had gathered around. The police took the IG to Pinjore police station in a Gypsy. People kept demanding action. The IG has been arrested after the case was registered.
