The condition of 15-year-old rape victim in Narayana area worsened during the miscarriage. She was admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where she succumbed during treatment. Fearing society reactions & social stigma, the family got the teenager aborted. They are being questioned about the place where they underwent unsafe abortion. The police have arrested the accused of rape by registering a case under non-accidental murder, rape, concealing evidence, pocso and other sections.

According to the information, the teenager living with family members in Narayana area did not attend school. His father works in a factory. In the house where the teenager lived, the accused was also a tenant. He raped the teenager by luring her. The family warned the accused, but he continued. Meanwhile, the teenager became pregnant.
She did not tell her family about this. When she informed the accused, he changed the room from there. After finding out, the family got the teenager aborted. This suddenly worsened her health. The family reached Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital on Friday night and admitted her. Late there the teenager died. The hospital informed the police about the incident.
