To make the patient cabin, middle berth has been removed from one side and all three berths have been removed in front of the patient’s berth. Moreover, all ladders for climbing up the berths have been removed. The bathrooms, aisle areas and other areas have also been modified to prepare Isolation Coach.

Earlier, it was decided that only one persom from every house will be allowed to walk to the market close by during the relaxation period to buy essentional items. This move comes as relief to residents as there were struggling to buy essential items after the lockdown. Prices of food items had been hiked and people were forced to stand in long queues.
Cases in India goes up to 873, says Health Ministry
