The number of corona patients in the country crossed 22 lakh on Sunday. So far 22 lakh 14 thousand 137 people have reported corona virus positive. More than 62 thousand cases increased on Sunday. In the last 24 hours, 62 thousand 117 new patients have increased.
It is a matter of relief that the recovery of patients has also crossed 15 lakhs: 15 lakh 34 thousand 278 people have been cured. A record 54 thousand 474 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. The death toll also crossed 44 thousand on Sunday. 1013 patients have died in India in one day. 44,466 patients have lost their lives so far.
12248 infected within 24 hours in Maharashtra, 390 dead
On Sunday, 12248 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra and the death toll increased by 390. So far, 5,15,332 people have been affected by the virus in the state. Of these, 1,45,558 people are being treated while 3,51,710 people have recovered. So far 17,757 people have died.
Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, 10820 new cases of corona were reported within the last 24 hours and 97 deaths were recorded. So far 2,27,860 people have been infected by the virus in the state. Of these, 87,112 people are currently being treated, while, 138712 people have recovered. The death toll of the state is 2036.

In Gujarat, Kerala, Tripura, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim, more patients have recovered, than the number of new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
