Salman khan’s upcoming movie’ Dabangg 3’ is scheduled to hit the screen tomorrow but the film’s collections can be affected by the violent situations going on in the country. There may be a decline in footfalls coming to the theatre this weekend due to the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 protests taking place across the country, as said by Boxofficeindia.com. this might result in low box office collection for the movie.
‘Dabangg 3’ Press show cancelled
The press show of Dabang 3 which was supposed to host today has been canceled due to protest against CAA in Mumbai and has been shifted to Friday morning, the same day when the movie will hit the theatre.
Promotions for ‘Chappaak’ cancelled
Deepika Padukone had to promote ‘Chappaak’ in Delhi this week but the ongoing protests have forced the team to cancel the plans. According to the report, Deepika and Meghna Gulzar canceled the promotion as according to them it would be insensitive on their part to promote the film at a time when the country is going through an emotional upheaval.
Views of various celebrities
Besides this, famous personas from Bollywood as well as Hollywood are not left behind in expressing their views and many have come forward in defense of students protests.
Director Anurag Kashyap wrote” “This has gone too far.. can’t stay silent any longer. This government is fascist .. and it makes me angry to see voices that can make a difference stay quiet”.
Uri actor Vicky Kaushal wrote that people have the right to voice their opinion peacefully.
Actor Rajkumar Rao also showed concern over the protests and the future of the country.
Actor Ayushman Khurrana came forward and appealed for peace. He reminded the country to be the land of Gandhi.

Hollywood star John Cusack wrote a bold tweet “I Stand with our Muslim brothers and sisters and students in solidarity being brutalized by Modi”.
Likewise, Veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee, Kubbra Sait who got famous for her role in Netflix series Sacred Games, Dia Mirza, Sidharth Malhotra, Dia Mirza, Huma Qureshi, Prithviraj Sukumaran also expressed their disappointment towards the behavior of police towards the protestors.
