Since Big Boss 13 kicked off, the two people who have bagged the most limelight is Siddharth Shukla and Rashami Desai. Both the actors have their share of popularity and fan base outside Big Boss house and industry too. Then what is about the two that have kept the audience so interested that they are two of the most talked-about people in the house.?

Siddharth Shukla and Rashami Desai were co-actors on the show ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ where they played the characters of a lead couple. There were rumours of the two datings and later having an ugly breakup. Their cold war hasn’t come to an end even after living under the same roof for the past 79 days. The two are often seen commenting on each other’s character and professional as well as personal life. The entire house, including the audience, is still trying to figure out that what went wrong between the two that their hatred for each other is at the maximum level right now.

But what happened on 21st and 22nd December 2019’s episode wasn’t taken the right way from the host Salman Khan as well as the audience too. The two co-actors got into the nastiest fight of the season with each other, where the actress had to throw ‘chai’ on Shukla.

It all started with a task where Asim asked Siddharth that whether he could participate or not. Siddharth is suffering from typhoid and is still on meds inside the house. So Rashami Desai jumped in the conversation and said that he looks fine, ask him to wear a shirt and participate. Siddharth didn’t like how the actress jumped between the two and taunted her by saying that ‘Are you his servant/assistant?” To which Rashami replied with ‘Yes I am.”

It’s not clear whether Asim instigated Rashami about the servant comment or not, but Rashami did explode like a volcano at Shukla about how can he comment on her like that. Talking about the same comment, the two actors started to have a heated argument, which included Asim too. Siddharth kept taunting the actress with a comment “Aisi Ladki” after which Rashami fights for self-respect and Asim and Arhaan stand up for her.

While it is said that Asim instigated the fight between the two, which escalated to a level that the entire house had to intervene to stop the two. Arhaan stood up for his beau, and in the heat of the moment, Siddharth caught up on his shirt, which ripped.

Rashami Desai was saying to Aarti that no one in the house stands up against what Siddharth Shukla says about the women of the house. Whereas Vikas Gupta, who is a proxy for Devoleena, believes that the housemates target Siddharth and pokes him because they know how much camera loves him. Shehnaaz Gill, who is a close friend of Siddharth Shukla, was seen stopping him, and when Salman asked her about what happened, Shehnaaz confessed that everyone in the house, including her is wrong because everyone pokes each other at some level. Shefali Jariwal and Aarti Singh agreed to the same.

The housemates didn’t know that Salman Khan was watching the entire episode through the TV, and what we saw from his expression was that he’d been disgusted with the type of entertainment the housemates have been putting up for the audience.

Rashami Desai was in no mood to let that comments go because not only she was deeply hurt, but she said that it is about her self respect and every women’s self-respect. She kept bringing the comment up and asked for clarification about “Aisi kaisi ladki hoon main, mujhe janna hai.” The actress tells host Salman Khan that Siddharth’s remarks are very derogatory, and she will always keep herself above if it comes down to this level. She was in tears, and Salman Khan asked Siddharth Shukla about his comment to which Siddharth replied, “Rashami Desai jaisi”.

Rashami wasn’t done and kept saying that she wants to throw her chappal at him, and just then, Salman brings up a point where Rashami called Shukla a ‘druggie’ and a loser. The statement where the actress calls the actor a drug addict angers him, and the fight between the two becomes more heated up.

Salman Khan explains to Rashami that Siddharth’s use of “Aisi ladki” meant nothing but a girl like her, who’s not behaving appropriately in the house and continually fighting with him. Rashami begins her drama again, and Salman tells her to stop repeating the same accusation again. Her reputation is going to suffer because of her behaviour in the house. Siddharth also understands that he shouldn’t be using such terms for women, and it wouldn’t do any good to his image outside the house.

Now, it isn’t really clear who is right who is wrong because if we call our Siddharth Shukla for commenting on her, then we have to call out Rashami Desai for going near him and persuade against him. A section of audience who is accusing Rashami of playing a woman card again and wasn’t punished for throwing chai at Shukla, another section of the audience is saying that Shukla’s level of commenting on an individual is unbearable.

Their tussle has undoubtedly brought a great set of TRPs for the show makers. Still, it’s very unfortunate to look at two renowned actors of the TV industry stooping down to a level, which is unacceptable. People have also shown their anger towards Salman Khan and the show makers being biased towards Siddharth Shukla throughout the season. Don’t know what Salman Khan personally thinks about it, but he surely doesn’t want to host the extended season of Big Boss 13.
