Man Strangles Girlfriend In Front Of Her 4-Year-Old Son For Refusing To Leave Husband In Noida

A man in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Shilpi, in front of her four-year-old son after she refused to leave her husband. The incident took place on November 11, and the accused, identified as Pradeep, has been taken into custody by the police.

According to authorities, Shilpi lived with her husband, Ajay, and their four-year-old son in Noida’s Chijarsi village. For the past three years, she had been in an extra-marital relationship with Pradeep, who was pressuring her to abandon her family and start a new life with him. However, Shilpi refused to leave her husband and child, which eventually led to a heated confrontation that turned fatal.

DCP Noida Central, Shakti Mohan Awasthi, stated that Pradeep went to Shilpi’s house on the morning of November 11 after her husband left for work. During this visit, he again demanded that she leave her family, but Shilpi refused, leading to a heated argument. In a fit of rage, Pradeep strangled her to death.

During the altercation, Shilpi’s four-year-old son, who had been sleeping in another room, woke up and witnessed the horrific incident. After being counseled by officials, the young boy provided crucial details to the police, helping them understand the chain of events that led to his mother’s death.

Pradeep was later arrested near the Gadhi Gol Chakkar area. Authorities have indicated that further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact motive and gather more evidence about the crime.

This incident highlights the dangers of toxic relationships and the devastating impact on innocent lives. Shilpi’s four-year-old son will now grow up with the traumatic memory of witnessing his mother’s murder.
