In a shocking incident in northeast Delhi’s Welcome area, a woman named Saadma was shot by her sister-in-law’s brother, Muntahir, following a heated argument over sharing pizzas, according to police reports. The dispute began when Zeeshan, the victim’s brother-in-law, shared pizzas with the family, angering his wife Saadiya, who objected to food being given to Saadma. The quarrel escalated when Saadiya called her four brothers—Muntahir, Tafseer, Shahzad, and Gulrej—from Ghaziabad, leading to a violent confrontation during which Muntahir shot Saadma.

Saadma, who sustained a gunshot wound, was rushed to GTB Hospital, where she is currently stable. Neighbours intervened after the shooting, locking the assailants in a room until police arrived. During the arrest, one of the accused tried to flee, firing a shot into the air, but was overpowered by locals. Authorities have seized a pistol, live cartridges, and an empty shell as part of the investigation.
