Neha stated that she went through a rough patch in her life which almost made her lose hope on living. She started to think about how life was unfair to her, and she wanted it to end. But during such difficult times, one should always think about the people who love them and let the evil thoughts pass away.

Neha Kakkar didn’t reveal any specific reason about her depression but it is believed that she went into depression after her relationship with Himansh Kohli ended earlier in 2019. There were many speculations behind the two breakings up, but according to sources, Himansh always doubted Neha’s loyalty. When asked about the breakup, Neha just stated that she is happy that she has realized what’s more important in life and that is family. Himansh Kohli has only said that whatever happened was somewhere meant to happen. But he still respects his ex-girlfriend and wishes her all the success and happiness.

In December 2018, the singer made her breakup with actor boyfriend public and shared a post on social media. However, later she revealed that she regrets making her personal life so public that the people assume they have access to whatever they want to say. The couple made their relationship official on Indian Idol 10 and also revealed that they are planning to get married soon. But things start to crumble, and the couple unfollowed each other and deleted all the pictures. After the breakup, the singer posted a story on her Instagram, stating that she has been diagnosed with depression.

The singer was recently again in the news because comedians Kiku Sharda and Gaurav Gera mocked the singer for her talent and short height. The act which had Gaurav and Kiku was a part of a short-format originals segment –Dr. Pran Lele aired between movie telecast on Sony Max. In the video, a short girl named “Neha Shakkar” was made fun of and called “Chota Sa Bluetooth speaker.

Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar slammed comedian Gaurav Gera and Kiku Sharda for mocking the singer based on height and talent. Both singers took their social media accounts to let their fans, as well as the comedians, know that they don’t approve of this ‘comic act’. Tony shared the video on his social media and wrote, ‘This is how you respect a small-town girl who has achieved everything on her own with so much struggle in life. Being a short girl, My sister has already suffered a lot. Do you understand what a person goes through when you make fun of her/his body size or shape?.

The singer showed his support for his sister by bashing out at the comedians for making fun of her. He asked them questions like Will you ever stop making fun of what God has made us?’ which also leads to her follow up question that asked the comedians and people involved in the entire scene is by mocking her talent, aren’t you tarnishing her career?‘ He mentioned that people who don’t know much about music but watch them on TV might believe what they’re saying is they are on a renowned TV channel. But Tony clearly mentioned that the fact ‘that is nobody becomes number 1 just by fluke and that too of a country which has a population of 1.3 billion #nehakakkar.”

After the singers expressed their hurt, Gaurav Gera apologized to Neha via his social media account as well as in an interview. He has confessed that he is a fan of Neha and her singing and he would never hurt any artist deliberately. He revealed that the writers, channel and the production house gave the lines to them. “They are more sensible than us, and they have their working equation with Neha because she does a show (Indian Idol 11) for them,” Gera said that he collaborated with the channel after 13 years and didn’t share the same equation with them as Neha does.

It seems like Neha Kakkar wants to forget and move on as she posted a fresh note on Thursday morning where she asked her fans to forgive and forget about the incidents and move on. She posted a story with a caption that said that she cannot live in a negative environment like it is right now, so she urged her fans to forgive and forget about the incident that happened.
