Missing Child Of Bengaluru Techie Found In Haryana Boarding School

Missing child of Bengaluru techie has been located at a boarding school in Faridabad, Haryana, providing a significant breakthrough in a case that has captured national attention. The child, a four-year-old boy, is the son of Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash, who tragically died by suicide last month. Atul’s death, attributed to allegations of harassment by his estranged wife, raised numerous questions about the whereabouts and custody of the child.

Boarding School Confirms Admission

The Faridabad boarding school informed Bengaluru Police that the boy was enrolled in its nursery program and was staying at the school hostel. In an official letter addressed to the Marathahalli police station, the school confirmed the child’s admission and clarified that his mother, Nikita Singhania, had completed all admission formalities. The letter revealed that Nikita had listed herself as the child’s sole guardian, omitting the father’s details from the admission documents.

The school also shared relevant documents, including the admission form, which corroborated the claims. Additionally, it was noted that during the winter holidays, no family member came to pick up the child, prompting the school to make special arrangements to keep him at the hostel.

Custody Battle Reaches Supreme Court

The revelation about the child’s location came amidst a legal battle for his custody. Atul’s mother filed a habeas corpus plea in the Supreme Court seeking custody of her grandson. However, the court declined her plea, citing that she was “virtually a stranger” to the child.

Nikita, who was estranged from Atul at the time of his death, recently disclosed that the boy would soon be brought to Bengaluru to reunite with her. The custody battle remains a contentious issue, with both sides leveling serious allegations against each other.

Tragic Death Of A Bengaluru Techie

Atul Subhash’s death by suicide in December sent shockwaves across the country. In a note he left behind, Atul accused his estranged wife of harassment and alleged that she had demanded ₹3 crore as part of a divorce settlement. Following his death, Nikita, along with her mother and brother, was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide. However, all three were granted conditional bail last week.

The tragic circumstances of Atul’s death have sparked widespread debates on marital disputes, financial demands, and the emotional toll of legal battles.

Counter Allegations By Nikita’s Family

Nikita’s family has countered the allegations made by Atul, accusing him of demanding an exorbitant dowry during their marriage. They claimed that this financial strain led to the death of Nikita’s father. The conflicting narratives between the two families have complicated the case, leaving authorities to navigate a maze of claims and counterclaims.

Grandfather’s Concerns For The Child

Atul’s father, Pavan Kumar Modi, has expressed deep concern for his grandson’s safety and well-being. He has accused Nikita of exploiting the child for financial gains under the pretext of care and custody. Modi’s statements add another layer of complexity to the already tense situation.

A Case Rooted In Family Disputes

This case highlights the broader issues surrounding family disputes and their impact on children. The boy, caught in the crossfire of legal battles and personal conflicts, remains at the center of a storm that involves allegations of financial misconduct, mental harassment, and custody claims.

As the legal proceedings unfold, questions about the child’s future remain unresolved. Authorities are working to ensure the boy’s safety and well-being, while both families continue to fight for what they believe is in his best interest.

The case serves as a stark reminder of the emotional, financial, and legal toll marital disputes can take, not just on the individuals involved but also on the next generation. The focus now shifts to ensuring a stable and secure environment for the child, whose life has been deeply affected by this tragedy.
