The industry, which is passing through severe financial crisis due to economic slowdown and operational challenges, on Thursday in Pawar's presence demanded financial package on the lines of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Bihar, restructuring of loans and transport subsidy of Rs 250 per quintal to boost sale in the country and export. AI to replace workload of most managers by 2024: Study

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies such as virtual personal assistants and chatbots will replace almost 69 per cent of the manager’s workload by 2024, according to a prediction by research and advisory firm Gartner on Thursday. “The role of manager will see a complete overhaul in the next four years,” Helen Poitevin, Research Vice-President at Gartner, said in a statement.

This novel protein may help prevent tooth decay

Researchers have developed a small protein that coats tooth surfaces, helping prevent new cavities and heal existing ones, an advance that may lead to oral gels that can be applied safely to prevent dental caries. According to the researchers, including those from The University of Hong Kong, cavities, or dental caries, are the most widespread non-communicable disease globally. They said getting a cavity drilled and filled at the dentist’s office can be painful, but untreated caries may lead to worse pain, tooth loss, infection, illness, and sometimes even death.
