- It is believed that Trump was referring to the 2012 terrorist attack on the wife of an Israeli diplomat in Delhi.

US President Donald Trump has defended the decision to kill General Qasim Suleimani, the head of Iran’s Quds army. Trump has said that the terrorist conspiracies of Qasim Sulemani spread from Delhi to London. Trump continued, “If Americans are intimidated anywhere, then we have already prepared a target list. We are ready for every kind of action as per the need. ”
Israeli diplomat’s wife was attacked in February 2012
Trump did mention General Sulemani’s terrorist plot in Delhi, but he did not give much information about it. On February 2012, Tahl Yehoshua Koren, wife of an Israeli diplomat in Delhi, was returning after dropping her kids to school to her car when someone fitted a bomb in car. The diplomat’s wife, driver and two passersby were injured in the blast. Police investigations revealed that the Revolutionary Guards of Iran had plotted the attack. An Iranian youth was also arrested in the case, though he was later released on bail. It is believed that Trump was linking the same incident to General Qasim.
‘What I did should have happened long ago’
Trump justified the actions of the US military, saying, “What we did yesterday should have happened long ago.” Many lives would have saved. Recently Sulaimani tried to brutally suppress demonstrations in Iran. The government of Iran tortured and killed about 1,000 innocent people of its own. “
Trump said – respect for Iranian people in my mind
Trump said, “We did the attack to stop the war. I have a deep respect for the Iranian people. They are amazing and brilliant people with excellent culture and heritage. We do not want to change power in Iran. But General Qasim was plotting to target American diplomats and military personnel. So we killed him. “
