No later 56 review petitions, four fresh writ petitions and five transfer pleas were indeed filed on the decision of the Supreme Court, and now the court is set to deliver its judgment in the review hearing. After a lengthy trial, the court had reserved decision on the reconsideration of the September 2018 judgment. The bench is now being headed by CJI Rajan Gogoi, Justices RF Nariman, A.M. Khanwilakr, D.Y. Chandrachud and Indu Malhotra. The review pleas were heard in an open court after hearing the parties including Nair Service Society, Thantry of the temple, the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) and the state government both in favour as well against the plea of review.

The report came in public when a Whistleblower who is working with Google and Ascension to collect data of millions of people in America. The project is known as Project Nightingale, and the aim is to make an artificial intelligence from the data collected, which will help the people for the betterment of their health care. What is Project Nightingale? It is an initiative of Google in partnership with Ascension, which is known in America as a non-profit health organisation. Currently, Ascension is having more than 150 hospitals and around 50 senior doctors working with them. The objective behind the project is to collect the data of the people in America and create artificial intelligence which will help people in a better way to take care of their health. The data that is collected includes hospital records of the patients, lab results, MRI report and all other information which is related to the health of the patient.

Vodafone CEO Nick Read recently told that they soon might have to liquidate because at present they are in a critical stage. Also known as the Global telecom giant, Vodafone is finding it tough to survive in the firstly because of the Indian regulations and second because of the exorbitant rate of tax. All these have led the joint venture in India to soon go into liquidation. It is facing missive fine and a price war with other telecom companies, and all this has moved the Vodafone’s joint venture in India to zero.  On Tuesday, Nick indicated that Vodafone India’s operation might soon head towards the process of liquidation. However, this may be avoided if the government provides the company with some relief on the mobile spectrum fees and he added that excessive tax and the unsupported regulation as a reason which is forcing them to go for liquidation. He said, “If you’re not a going concern, you’re moving into a liquidation scenario can’t get any clearer than that,”.
