The Navy has ordered employees to stop using social media to avoid online spying. According to the Navy, in the past 7 employees were caught leaking sensitive information through social media to the enemy country. Due to this, strict steps have been taken. Officers also banned the use of smartphones on Navy bases, dockyards and warships.
State Bank of India (SBI) on Monday has cut the external benchmark based rate (EBR) on home loans by 25 basis points i.e. 0.25% to 7.80%. With this, home loan rates were also reduced to 7.90%. Earlier SBI had the lowest home loan rate of 8.15%. These new rates will be applicable from January 1, 2020 and after that taking home loan will attract interest of 7.90%.

The actor was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment in Pali Hill on 27th December 2019 and according to the local police, they found a suicide note. His wife, Audrey Dolhen, a foreign national who works for a shipping firm in China, survives him. The note clearly states that no one is to be blamed for his demise.

Winter season continues in North India including Delhi. The minimum temperature was recorded at 4.2 degrees Celsius on Friday morning. Delhi has had such a cold for the second time in 118 years in the month of December. Earlier in December 1901 and 1997, the average temperature was 17.3 degrees Celsius, while in December 2019, the average temperature so far has been 19.85.
